Traditional Music Jam

Traditional Music Jam

Presented by Peter White Public Library and Hiawatha Music Co-op at Peter White Public Library

On Saturday, February 8 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm the Peter White Public Library will host a traditional music jam in the Community Room on the lower level of the library.

Bring your guitar, banjo, fiddle, bass, ukulele, harmonica, or just your voice, and join other acoustic musicians and vocalists for a community jam session. Celebrate the traditional folk music of the Carter Family, Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Bob Dylan, and others.  It’s a chance to share your love of music and learn a new song or instrumental technique. Listeners and singers are always welcome.

There is no admission fee to attend this event which is sponsored by the Hiawatha Music Co-op and the Carroll Paul Memorial Trust Fund of the Peter White Public Library.
