The Immigrant Experience Exhibit Opening

Come enjoy refreshments and take a look around the Beaumier’s new exhibit. “The Immigration Experience” multi-media exhibition will paint a picture of the immigrant experiences, using the Upper Peninsula as a canvas. It will look at the experiences of the first European/White settlers of the region to the people who are coming to the area to make it their home today. Regardless of the era of their arrival, all immigrants share certain commonalities in experience, which this exhibit will explore. There will be an interactive component which will gather real time date from visitors about their own family’s immigration eexperience.

Exhibit opens April 14 and ends October 13.
