Value of Prevention: It takes a toolbox

Practitioners will introduce skills for the protective factor: Emotional Control. These include Yoga, Tai Chi, Meditation, and Simply Successful Kids.

Marquette County Cares invites you to the “Value of Prevention: It Takes a Toolbox” event. Practitioners will introduce skills for the protective factor: Emotional Control. These include Yoga, Tai Chi, Meditation, and Simply Successful Kids. When youth learn skills for coping with their emotions, they decrease their risks for early drug use, depression, anxiety, delinquency, violence and even school drop out. Learn skills to share with youth in your neighborhood by joining us at the Marquette Alternative High School, February 26th, 6 to 8 p.m.  Free to the public and open to all ages.
