Spring Concert by Mqrquette Choral Society

Choral concert features powerful works by Ralph Vaughan Williams and Marquette composer Griffin Candey, based on texts by Walt Whitman and Marquette poet Kathleen Heideman.

The 95-member Marquette Choral Society will present their Spring concert – “The Night Psalms” – at the NMU Reynolds Recital Hall on April 28th (7:30 PM) and April 29th (3:00 PM). The concert features two cantatas from different historical eras, connected in part by the poet Walt Whitman and in whole by the resolution of deep concerns with a profound optimism.
