Scandalous Ancestors: Tracking Black Sheep in the Family

Register now for the Genealogy Log-In, “Scandalous Ancestors” for hints on finding the black sheep in your family tree.

The Fall GENEALOGY LOG-IN (formerly known as the Lock-In) will be held virtually this year on Friday, October 23, at 6:30 p.m. for those who have begun researching their family histories.  The keynote session, Scandalous Ancestors: Tracking Black Sheep Family Members, will be led by Jessica M. Trotter, MSI, Vice President of LAAAGS (Lansing Area African American Genealogical Society).  Register by calling the Peter White Public Library at 906-226-4311 or e-mail the Reference Desk at refdesk@pwpl.info  Upon registration, the Zoom link and handouts will be sent to you.
