Historical Monuments: removal and reassessment round-table

This roundtable discussion will place these monuments, and the recent events in Charlottesville and across the country, into historical context and provide a venue for public discourse on this challenging topic.

The Beaumier U.P. Heritage Center is hosting a round-table discussion titled, “Historical Monuments: removal and reassessment,” on Thursday, October 12 at 7 p.m.  The roundtable discussion will be held in the Mead Auditorium in the West Science Building on the campus of Northern Michigan University.  Admission is free and open to the public.
