DocuMonday presents a screening of the 2018 documentary Maiden on Monday, January 6, at 7:00 pm in the Peter White Public Library’s Community Room on the lower level of the Library.
In her mid-20s, Tracy Edwards, a cook on charter boats, decided that she wanted to be a crew member in the 1989 Whitbread Round the World Race. Unfortunately, since she was a woman, no crew would have her, so she put her own, all-female crew together, the first to run this race. Directed by Alex Holmes, the movie is rated PG runs for 97 minutes.
