Clay Class: Family Hand Bowls

Bring your family together for Family Art Night to make a beautiful clay handprint bowl. These personalized bowls are totally unique – just like your family!

We’ll show you how to get a great print, and then you’ll customize your clay handprints with textured stamps and letters. It’s a quick class, because we’ll put them all together for you into a bowl shape. It goes through the kiln once, and then 10 days later, you can come back in to paint it (or take a to-go kit and paint at home). Then it goes through the kiln one more time to make it food-safe, non-toxic, and a durable keepsake!

You must preregister. Reserve your 30 minute time slot with a $10 deposit, applied towards the final cost of your bowl. Bowls are specially made for each family, so size & price will vary based on the number of handprints.

Please let us know how many hands you’ll have, and if you’d like to do more than one bowl, so that we can have enough materials prepared.

Small Hand (fits 4″ template) – $14
Medium Hand (fits 6″ template) – $16
Large Hand (fits over 6″ template) – $18

A family of four with 2 adults and 2 kids will typically be ~$62+tax; an adult couple would be ~$36+tax.

This class will be held in the Masonic Shopping Center atrium, at 130 W. Washington St. Participants will be spread out throughout the atrium individually – please let us know if you’re attending with a friend so we can seat you together. Masks are required at all times while creating.
