BYO Dinner Theater--Vice

The Peter White Public Library invites film fans to watch Vice on Tuesday, November 19 at 6:00 pm in the Library’s Community Room on the lower level.  Bring your dinner to enjoy this movie in a dinner theater setting with other movie lovers.

As a wild young man, it would seem unlikely that Dick Cheney would become Vice President of the United States.  Influenced by Lynne who gave him an ultimatum to sober up or lose her, he changed his ways and became an intern in Congress, quietly working his way up to the top.  Starring Christian Bale, Amy Adams and Steve Carell, this 2018 biographical drama is rated R and runs 132 minutes.

Christian Bale won a Golden Globe for his portrayal of Dick Cheney, and the film won an Oscar for best achievement in makeup and hair styling.   It won 28 other awards including a BAFTA for best editing.
