Eden Waits is an historical fiction novel, set during the late 19th century in the UP of Michigan. In 1893, preacher Abraham Byers and his wife Elizabeth establish a homestead, the Hiawatha Colony, a product sharing community of family and friends. Can this utopian experiment survive the harsh Michigan winters, the antagonism of the outside world, and even internal strife?

Maryka Biaggio is a former psychology professor turned writer, specializing in the dramatization of real life historical figures and events. Her first novel, Parlor Games, was published in January 2013. You can visit her web page at www.marykabiagiio.com.
