2nd Annual Marquette Lower Harbor Underwater Cleanup
Volunteer for this important community event to help clean up trash from the harbor!
On July 18th, 2020 Scuba divers and surface support volunteers will clean up Marquette Harbor. Last summer we removed 8,000 pounds of tires and other trash from the harbor. There’s more to clean up. With grant support from EGLE and in coordination with Marquette Solid Waste Management and Department of Parks and Recreation, we will continue to beautify our harbor. If you have diving skills or would like to help out in a surface support capacity, come spend a fun afternoon making Marquette a better place underwater. Sign up now to volunteer for this important community event.
